Roanoke standout Emma Boris has been named First-Team All-Chesapeake Region by The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).
The all-region honor is latest for Boris who was named First-Team All-ODAC and the ODAC Defensive Player of the Year back on May 10. It marks the third all-region for Boris and her first, first-team accolade.
Boris finished the season leading the league in both groundballs with 61 and caused turnovers with 44. She also scored two goals on the season.
Six Roanoke College Women’s Lacrosse players have been named to the 2018 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) All-Conference Team, including Boris. Emma was named First-Team All-ODAC along with Maggie Lewis. Ellie Armstrong was chosen for the second-team, while Mckenna Polak, Caitlin Blankenship and Katie Clements were named to the third-team.
