All four were also in action Monday. The Lewis boys beat Northside 49-47 in Salem for their second “OT” win of the season. Aaron Brower and Jayden White led the Wolverines in scoring and CJ Goens had six blocked shots. Brower hit a three pointer with three seconds left in overtime for what proved to be the winning points.
Last week Lewis lost to Blacksburg, 33-29, but bounced back to beat Hidden Valley, 44-37.
The Lewis girls remained unbeaten and untested with a 37-3 win at Northside Monday. Last week Lewis beat Blacksburg, 27-12, and Hidden Valley, 34-14. The Wolverines held Hidden Valley scoreless in the third period and had seven different girls score in the game, led by Ella Ridinger with nine off the bench.
Glenvar’s boys were at Blacksburg Monday where they picked up a big 50-44 road win. Bryson Kuzmich led Glenvar in scoring with 14 points and Lane Williamson added 13 points and six rebounds. Kiptyn Jones grabbed 5 boards and added 7 points as well.
“This was a really good road win for our team,” said Glenvar coach Josh Jones.
The girls played the second game Monday and lost 31-9. Emmy Barba, Aaliyah Zackery and Olivia Whitney had two points each.
Tough game,” said Glenvar coach Andrew Wilson. “Blacksburg came out hard and played some tough man to man defense. We struggled to attack and get movement.”
Last Thursday at Glenvar the Highlanders swept Central Academy. The boys played first and rolled to a 64-6 win as Williamson scored 20 points before Jones cleared the bench. Hudson Luton and Jaxson Kuzmich had four steals each and Kuzmich also added 10 points.

“We had a big size advantage and our posts were playing hard,” said Quillan. “CAMS had a hard time handling our press.”
The Highlanders were scheduled to host Pulaski on Wednesday but results were too late for publication.
