The Rotary Club of Salem placed more than 500 American flags on the field at the American Legion Post 3 Hall on Apperson Drive as a tribute to veterans, active-duty military, first responders, health care workers and those who made the ultimate sacrifice to defend freedom. The display can be viewed in person through Nov. 15.
