Roanoke- Magnum Point Marina hosted its annual holiday benefit on Saturday, raising $20,000 in support of Feeding Southwest Virginia. The event brought together community members for a festive evening dedicated to addressing food insecurity in the region.
The funds raised will benefit the Salem Mobile Marketplace’s Rocky Mount site and six partner agencies operating within Franklin County. Strengthen Feeding Southwest Virginia’s ability to provide food assistance to local families experiencing food insecurity. The Mobile Marketplace program brings fresh produce and essential food items directly to communities with limited access to grocery stores, serving as a lifeline for rural residents throughout Southwest Virginia.
