Mary Lou Grant Chisom, 72, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 11, at her home. She was born on April 6, 1948, in Roanoke, the daughter of the late Billy and Mary Walker Grant.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Tommy Chisom; sons, Todd and Brian (Janet) Chisom; sisters, Lois Ann (Jimmy) Bryant, Jane McGuire, and Wanda (Eugene) Cash.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, October 14, at 1 p.m. at John M. Oakey & Son funeral home in Salem, with Pastor Steve Parker officiating. Interment followed in Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
