Arrests – March 23rd, 2017

The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged between March 14-20. Arrest indicates an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of juveniles under the age of 18.

Those arrested and their charges were listed as:

March 14 – Nathaniel C. Tabor, 35, failure to appear

March 15 – Chad R. Thrush, 34, nine charges of violation of probation; Marcus C. Exceus, 20, failure to appear

March 16 – Logan P. Musgrove, 22, public intoxication, two charges of shoplifting; Tanora A. Simpson, 31, possession of marijuana

March 17 – Thurman E. Ayers, 28, possession of marijuana; Herbert H. Hawks Jr., 60, driving under the influence; Lansana Sesay, 29, property damage; Juan A. Welez, 26, possession of marijuana; Larry L. Logan, 69, driving under the influence

March 18 – Crystal N. Jones, 32, domestic assault and battery; Michael D. Mathena, 54, interdiction; Cory J. Rouse, 46, possession of marijuana; Eric T. Riggs, 36, driving under the influence

March 19 – Stuart L. Adkins Jr., 47, unauthorized use of a vehicle

March 20 – Craig W. Manges Jr., 30, violation of probation; Logan T. Rich, 23, three charges of false police report; Nicholas J. Clements, 25, failure to appear; Jonathan S. Adams, 31, inhaling noxious substances; Patricia A. Waddell, 29, two charges of embezzlement

 

Also reported were the following felonies:

March 15 – Credit card forgery, obtaining money/goods by false pretense, illegal use of a credit card, 1800 block of W. Main Street; obtaining money/goods by false pretense, illegal use of a credit card, 800 block of W. Main Street; illegal use of a credit card, 1400 block of W. Main Street; obtaining money/goods by false pretense, illegal use of a credit card, 1400 block of W. Main Street

March 16 – Counterfeiting, 400 block of Spartan Drive; shoplifting, 1800 block of W. Main Street

March 17 – Possession of a controlled substance, 800 block of Roanoke Boulevard

March 18 – Possession of a controlled substance, 100 block of Electric Road

March 19 – Unauthorized use of a vehicle, 800 block of Tennessee Street; possession of a controlled substance, 8th Street/S. College Avenue
