The Salem High girls lacrosse team will have “Cradle for Caleb” night on May 19th.
The event was started in remembrance of former player Caleb Underwood, who passed from SUDEP over a year ago. SUDEP is the sudden, unexpected death of someone with epilepsy, who was otherwise healthy.
“We will be selling custom colored Pura Vida bracelets for $5,” said coach Maggi Pace. “All proceeds will go toward the endowment for Caleb’s Salem Education Foundation scholarship.”
If anyone would like to purchase a bracelet, they can visit the Salem girls’ Facebook event page “Cradle for Caleb: May 19th” and see the link provided there.
