Wolverines beat three opponents on the track

The Andrew Lewis track teams defeated Cave Spring, Christiansburg, and Shawsville Middle Schools last week in a meet at Salem High School.

The girls were led by double winners Kaitlyn Crumpacker and Neelah Logan.  Neelah won the 100 and 200 meter dashes, while Kaitlyn won the 1600 & 800 meter run.

Kaitlyn Creger, My’La Green, Zoe Robtison, Kylie Butt, Elizabeth Collins, Zoe Prosser, Kenly Coleman, Mariah Gahl, and Emily Johnson were all on winning relays teams for the Wolverines.

The boys were led by double winners Boone Fleenor and George Copeland.  Boone won the 100 and 200 meter dashes while George won the Shot and Discus throws.

Zander Maples was the winner of the 300 meter hurdles and Marco Medoza won the 400 meter dash.  Da’Ron Wilson won the High Jump while Brayden Taylor, Jaime Lingenfelter, and Tommy Henzy were all part of winning relay teams.
