The Salem Police Department is asking that anyone having information related to an early morning break-in that took place on Friday, May 25, on 4th Street to contact them immediately. Detectives are currently investigating a burglary that occurred at Trader Jerry’s, located in the 700 block of West 4th Street.

At approximately 3 a.m., Salem Police Officers responded to the business for an alarm call and found the front door glass of the business had been shattered. Officer did not find anyone inside the store, but surveillance video shows two unidentified males breaking the front door glass and entering the establishment. The two suspects grabbed various firearms and then fled the scene on foot.

This investigation is ongoing, and anyone having information about the crime or the identity of the suspects is asked to call the Salem Police Department Detectives Division at (540) 375-3083.
