Katherine Haislip Ferguson, 77, of Gordonsville, Virginia, died Monday, July 2, at Louisa Health Care. Born April 23, 1941, in Roanoke, Virginia, Katherine was the daughter of the late Raymond P. Haislip and Frances Miller Haislip. She was also the wife of the late Sidney W. Ferguson. Katherine loved to volunteer for many organizations.
Mrs. Ferguson is survived by her daughter, Karen L. Dalton; son, Timothy W. Ferguson and wife Katie; three sisters, Cynthia Mastin and friend Joe Schipf, Linda Roberts and Margaret Ann Reed and husband David; three grandchildren, Elizabeth F. Dalton, Hunter P. Ferguson, Christian P. Ferguson; two great-grandchildren, Caden E. Ronquist and Colton E. Ronquist; three brothers-in-law, Harold E. Weikle, Samuel Weikle and Jerry W. Ferguson. Katherine was loved by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
