Arrests: June 26-July 9

The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged between June 26-July 9. Arrest indicates an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18. (grammar)

Those arrested and their charges were listed as:

June 26 – Glen W. Crotts IV, 25, domestic assault and battery, assault and battery; Jennifer E. Walker, 35, failure to appear

June 27 – Frederick L. Haibon, 37, public intoxication

June 28 – Christopher R. Hudson, 28, public intoxication

June 29 – Tyler J. Vasko, 24, failure to appear; Melissa K. Cheatam, 44, violation of probation, possession of marijuana; Thomas A. Gillespie, 29, possession of marijuana; Trent D. Martin, 19, reckless handling of a firearm, discharging a firearm in city limits, contributing to the delinquency of a minor (two counts)

June 30 – Brent L. Reedy, 39, public intoxication; Michael J. Christianson, 48, public intoxication, possession of marijuana, assault on a police officer; Joshua A. Zimmerman, 39, driving under the influence

July 1 – Edward G. Manspile, 50, violation of a protective order; Samuel D. Goff, 56, driving under the influence, possession of marijuana; Ashley N. Weaver, 28, possession of a controlled substance; Douglas S. Westmoreland, 29, possession of a controlled substance; Frank M. Stafford, 56, driving under the influence, unreasonable refusal

July 2 – Cody A. Lawson, 26, possession of marijuana; Michael S. Johnson, 19, possession of a controlled substance; Anthony C. Jordan, 57, violation of probation; Joni R. Whitaker, 34, public intoxication; Seth L. Pendelton, 34, possession of a controlled substance

July 3 – Christopher L. Garcia-Montanez, 20, criminal trespass; Keila L. Rochford, 34, criminal trespass; Angelica H. Carbaugh, 19, criminal trespass; Logan Shoup, 19, criminal trespass; Angela W. Saxton, 54, criminal trespass; Miranda D. Tennies, 29, failure to appear; Robert M. Caldwell, 36, assault and battery; Rosemarie P. Myers, 57, assault and battery; Ann M. Monetti, 19, criminal trespass

July 4 – Matthew T. Paxton, 39, assault and battery; Devon T. Bates, 37, domestic assault and battery

July 5 – Seth L. Pendleton, 34, criminal trespass; Devon T. Bates, 37, violation of a protective order; John L. Krippendorf, 53, driving under the influence

July 6 – William C. Carter, 2 charges of forgery, obtaining money/goods by false pretense, 3 charges of illegal use of a credit card; Logan J. Dowell, 19, possession of marijuana

July 7 – Eric L. Jansen, 34, possession of marijuana; Robbie W. Wilkerson, 51, possession of marijuana; Heather M. Thompson, 29, driving under the influence; James A. Hall, 51, vehicle theft

July 8 – Zachary ‘T. York, 21, driving under the influence; property damage, obstruction of justice; Michael L. Oldson, 33, domestic assault and battery

July 9 – James C. Whyte, 42, interdicted person

Also reported were the following felonies:

June 26 – Possession of a controlled substance, 1400 block of E. Main Street

June 28 – Possession of a controlled substance, 2600 block of Macon Street

June 29 – Possession of a controlled substance, 0 block of N. Broad Street; grand larceny, 600 block of Roanoke Street

June 30 – Possession of a controlled substance, 800 block of E. Main Street

July 2 – Possession of a controlled substance, 300 block of S. Market Street; possession of a controlled substance, 1900 block of Electric Road; possession of a controlled substance, 100 block of Electric Road

July 3 – Embezzlement, 1600 block of W. Main Street; embezzlement, 1400 block of W. Main Street
