A reunion of all who attended the Catawba School is planned for September 22, from noon to 5:00 p.m., at the school building (now Catawba Community Center) located at 4965 Catawba Creek Road (Rt. 779) in Catawba. Patty Starkey, one of the reunion organizers, invites all former students and teachers to come out for an afternoon to “talk, laugh, eat, reminisce and have fun.”
Everyone is urged to bring photos from his or her school years to share with others. Food for purchase will be provided by members of the Catawba Ruritan Club. Call Patty Starkey at 540-330-3130 to pre-register and to order t-shirts.
