The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged September 11 – September 24. Arrest indicates an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18.

September 11 – Yohanes T. Markose, 19, possession of marijuana; Jessee M. Lawson Jr., 65, domestic assault and battery; and Brenda A. Jodoin, 53, interdicted person.
September 12 – Cameron D. Poff, 46, violation of probation; Harold S. Lynskey, 45, violation of probation; and Michael D. Folden, 19, distribution of marijuana.
September 13 – Jacob D. Tolley, 21, uttering; Shaun D. Weaver, 26, damage property; and Marcus K. Folden, 21, distribution of marijuana.
September 14 – Laura M. Brunk, 37, criminal trespass; Ian R. Gillen, 21, possession of marijuana; Paul E. Ames, 46, failure to appear; and Kevin A. Dougherty, 34, assault and battery, damage property.
September 15 – Carl J. Barnett, 21, possession of marijuana, carry a concealed weapon.
September 16 – Russell M. Robinette, 49, assault and battery; Israel J. Sutphin, 19, possession of marijuana; Angelina I. Diaz, 21, possession of marijuana; Shakil Persad, 19, possession of marijuana; Kaila I. Tibbs, 19, possession of marijuana; Kayla A. Capehart, 20, possession of marijuana; and Antonio L. Webb, 45, DUI.
