 The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged April 23-29. Arrest indicates an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18.

Those arrested and their charges were listed as:

April 23 – Carolyn A. Russell, 58, contempt of court; Tara E. Foltz, 38, false name of police, failure to appear; Theresa A. Price, 48, shoplifting; and Triston C. McMahon, 21, failure to appear.

April 24 – Kathleen M. Delmedico, 44, domestic assault and battery; and Richard J. Viar, 40, failure to appear, criminal trespass.

April 25 – Ryan C. Painter, 21, public intoxication; Juan R. Majano, 25, possession of marijuana; Brandyn T. Vinyard, 42, shoplifting; Cheryl T. Markham, 54, shoplifting; and Ralph E. Alls II, 30, contempt of court.

April 26 – Devante M. Payne, 23, failure to appear; and Douglas S. Westmoreland, 30, failure to appear.

April 27 – Ferreco R. Young, 29, false name to police; and Dustin T. Craig, 32, domestic assault and battery, strangulation of another.

April 28 – Joseph S. Gabris, 31, violation of probation; and Samantha H. Blankenship, 32, DUI.

April 29 – Brandon W. Ramsey, 35, contempt of court; Steven W. Biggs, 24, failure to appear; and Justin S. Glenn, 30, failure to appear.
