Glenn “Phil” Philip Robinson, 77, passed away on Sunday, March 15, after a short stay at Harrison’s Crossing Health Campus. He was born in Brazil on September 18, 1942, to the late Glenn Hugh and Anna (Howald) Robinson. Phil graduated from Augusta Military Academy in Lexington, Virginia, served his country in the United States Army and married his “Pretty Woman” Brenda Kay on July 12, 1986. He served the town of Salem as a police officer for over 30 years, but his true passion was farming.
When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time outdoors, with friends and family. Phil enjoyed shooting, hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his son, Cameron Robinson, and his daughter, Debbie Robinson Fifer.
Survivors include: his wife Kay Robinson, daughter Sandra Robinson, brother Albert (Vicki) Robinson, sister Joan (Hermann) Habermann, grandchildren Brittney (Matt) Wagner and Wes Fifer, great-grandchildren Samuel and Elijah Philip and niece Krista Robinson
