The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged August 4-10. Arrest indicates an accusation, and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18.
Those arrested and their charges were listed as:
August 4 – Mindi C. Worrell, 40, assault and battery; Jahkem D. Shelby, 20, assault and battery; Rachel A. Fox, 26, contempt of court; Jerry W. Germond Jr., 42, possession of controlled substances; and Nikki M. Taylor, 23, assault and battery.
August 5 – Christopher H. Maxwell, 35, attempt to defect a drug/alcohol screening test; Michelle D. Preston, 34, shoplifting; and Dale A. Dalton II, 38, DUI.
August 6 – Chloe W. White, 27, criminal trespass; and David W. Pomerleau, 20, failure to appear.
August 7 – Matthew L. Pence, 58, violation of probation; Chuckie D. Sykes, 58, public intoxication; and Joseph E. Bosle III, 52, DUI.
August 8 – Lisa J. Holcomb, 59, assault and battery; and Donald R. Oliver, 49, violation of protective order.
August 10 – Almonzo B. James, 22, failure to appear.
