A group of Roanoke Valley celebrities took on their counterparts from Lynchburg last Friday night in a charity softball game at Salem Memorial Ballpark. The Red Sox took a 5-2 win over the Hillcats as donations were taken for the American Red Cross and United Way in both Roanoke and Lynchburg. Organizers are hoping the event will become an annual affair.
