The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged February 23-March 1. Arrest indicates an accusation, and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18.
Those arrested and their charges were listed as:
February 23 – Michael D. Reid, 45, abduction, obstructing justice, assault and battery, damage property, public intoxication; John A. Dugger, 45, DUI; Solitta C. Williams, domestic assault and battery; and Richard B. Henry, 38, petit larceny, obstructing justice, evading police, assault on a police officer.
February 24 – Cruz L. Rodriguez, 32, public intoxication, obstructing justice, assault on a police officer; Devon C. Taylor, 36, failure to appear; Kristina E. Wood, 37, public intoxication; Damion Z. Cairo, 23, shoplifting, public intoxication; and Justin M. Worth, 31, assault and battery.
February 25 – Jason C. Widener, 42, false name to police, conceal merchandise; Lubov A. Smith, 28, public intoxication; and Karen R. Bostic, 42, public intoxication, assault on a police officer, obstructing justice.
February 27 – Gregory S. Williams, 28, public intoxication
February 28 – David A. Chavies, 41, petit larceny, carrying concealed weapon
