The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged July 13-19. Arrest indicates an accusation, and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18.

Those arrested and their charges were listed as:

July 13 – Christian L. Eubank, 40, shoplifting; Donald W. Sowers Jr., 54, shoplifting, obstructing justice; and Kasey E. Schook, 20, shoplifting. 

July 14 – Johnathan R. Kennedy, 28, violation of probation

July 15 – Jacob M. Graham, 23, failure to appear; Bryce G. Richards, 24, false name to police; Emily A. Gillespie, 20, shoplifting; and Alexander B. Gill, 19, shoplifting. 

July 16 – Melody L. Newby, 31, criminal trespass; and Tara L. Woods, 58, domestic assault and battery. 

July 17 – Phillip R. Strange, 42, possession of controlled substance 

July 18 – Gregory S. Williams, 28, possession of controlled substance
