Members of Roanoke Valley Citizens for Peace in Ukraine and the East Coast Experiential Peace Organizing Committee gathered at Salem’s WWI memorial on College Avenue Monday. According to the organizer, they gather to say “that American workers should not sacrifice so the 1% can continue the American Empire and that the U.S. should urgently negotiate in earnest to end the Ukraine War.”
