Salem native Andrew Kingery and his wife, Rachael Hester Kingery, performed at the induction ceremony for the National Fiddler Hall of Fame in Tulsa, Oklahoma last Saturday. Rachael’s father, the late Hubert “Hoot” Hester, was inducted into the Hall of Fame along with Rob Hajacos and Jimmy Mattingly. Country music stars Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks attended the ceremony to honor the inductees. Left to right are Trisha Yearwood, Andrew and Rachael’s daughter Rosa Kingery, Rachel’s sister and mother Becca McBride and Lola Hester, Garth Brooks, Rachael Hester Kingery and Andrew Kingery. The Kingerys live in the valley and have a house on the Boulevard in Salem.
