The Salem VA Medical Center on Monday announced that due to a rise in the number of positive COVID-19 cases, and in an effort to protect veterans and staff, it has implemented the following rules:
- Mandatory masking for all inpatient areas, including the domiciliary.
- Masking is highly recommended in all other areas of the facility, including outpatient areas.
The center said it will provide masks to those who do not have one. “Please remember to frequently wash your hands and distance when possible,” it added.
