Malcolm Ellis Greer, affectionately known as “Pa”, 93, of Salem, Virginia passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024.
He was an Air Force Veteran and retired in 1991 after a career with the Roanoke City Water Department. He was known for his easy going personality and love for his family. He enjoyed walking and watching sports of all kinds.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Lois Ann Greer and son Michael Ellis Greer.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Julie Mann and husband Randy; son, Ron Greer and wife Susan; grandchildren, Ryan Greer and wife Katie, Cory Greer, Elena Brubaker and husband David, Tyler Mann, Seth Greer, Abbey Greer, and Chase Greer; and great grandchildren, Ellis and Parker Greer.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Lewis Gale MICU staff and Good Samaritan Hospice.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
