Ridge View Bank announces 2024 scholarship winners

Ridge View Bank recently announced the winners of its 2024 scholarship competition. The scholarships, totaling $4,000, were awarded to four outstanding high school seniors based on their exceptional essays, community involvement and letters of recommendation. Each winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship to support their higher education in a business-related field of study. 

The winners of the 2024 Ridge View Bank scholarships are: 

  • Taylor Prillaman from Patrick Henry High School, who will be attending the University of Virginia to study elementary education. 
  • Ryan Coe from Salem High School, who will be attending Virginia Tech to study packaging systems & design. 
  • Nicholas Crawford from Northside High School, who will be attending Emory & Henry College to study business. 
  • Kolby Stinson from Franklin County High School, who will be attending Virginia Western Community College. 

“These students have demonstrated exceptional dedication to their studies and communities,” said Carrie McConnell, president of Ridge View Bank. “We are proud to support their academic pursuits and look forward to seeing their future accomplishments.”
