As a Salem fan and Women’s BB fan, I’m writing to congratulate the Salem High Girls Varsity Basketball Team! They had a FANTASTIC season! I went to almost all of their home games and watched these young ladies playing hard and playing together as a team! They played with heart and gave it their all every game! And they played fair and were respectful to their opponents!
They went all the way to the State title game and that is a GREAT achievement! I know that the disappointment of losing that game is hard to bear but over time they’ll take pride in how hard they worked and played to get that far. After all, only two teams in the whole State made it to that game.
Congratulations to you all again, and thank you for many fun and exciting nights in the gym!
