Fellow citizens, wake up before it’s too late! Our republic is being stolen. Our Constitution provides for three equal branches of government to protect against any one branch getting too much power.
One branch, Congress, is not doing its job. For years, rather than compromising to make clear, responsible laws, the two Congressional political parties have fought each other to a stalemate. The result is a vacuum which a power-hungry President is rapidly filling.
While Congress idly or, some would say, complicitly looks on, this President, using appointed toadies and unelected third parties, is dismantling entire government agencies created and funded by Congress. In just over one month, he has hurt thousands of federal employees who have lost their jobs and diminished or discontinued governmental services that will hurt millions of Americans.
The courts are the only remaining branch to check the President’s power, but by the time judicial decisions are final – even if they prohibit action previously taken – the damage will be done.
The President is even calling for impeachment of judges who rule against him. Raise your voice in protest now! Insist that your Representatives intervene to stop this President’s abuse of power. Remind them that their jobs won’t be necessary when they have enabled a dictator. Unless we act now, there may not be free and fair elections in 2028, or even 2026.
