Cam Stevens had a three-goal hat trick and added an assist as the Glenvar girls defeated Giles in Pearisburg last week, 7-1.
Anna Vecellio added two goals and Adalee Harvey and Annie George had one each in the win. Sawyer Wilson had two assists and Brooke Smyth had one as the Highlanders evened their record at 1-1 going into spring break.
Glenvar will return to action next Wednesday, April 2nd, when the girls travel to Rocky Mount for a rematch with Franklin County. The Eagles took a 3-1 win in the season opener in Glenvar and the Highlanders will be looking for revenge.
