Becky P. Meador, 68 of Eldersburg, MD, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025, at the Dove House in Westminster, MD

She was the beloved wife of Frank “Skip” Meador.

Mrs. Meador was born October 24, 1956, in Roanoke, VA the daughter of the late Holmes Preas and the late Jewel Armentrout Preas.

Becky faithfully attended and volunteered at Faith Family Church in Finksburg. Although in the past few years she was not able to attend live services due to health reasons, she watched the services every Sunday on live stream. She was also an avid follower of Pastor Dr. David Jeremiah. Over the years, Becky expressed her “gift of service” at the Church in many ways. She served as an information desk person, a greeter, a kitchen helper, and any other ways she could pitch in and help.

Surviving in addition to her husband is her son Michael Meador and his wife Eve; siblings Bonnie O’dell, and Robert “Bob” Preas and his wife Karen.

Preceded in death in addition to her parents is her sisters, Brenda Gauldin and Beverly DeSchon.

Graveside service will be held Thursday August 14, 2025, at 1 PM at Sherwood Cemetery Salem, VA.

Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 3 PM at Faith Family Church 4150 Sykesville Rd, Finksburg, MD 21048.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave. Westminster, MD 21784.
