The Roanoke College women defeated Hollins University in three sets Tuesday to even their record at 6-6. Roanoke also beat Pfeiffer in Lynchburg last Friday in a non-conference volleyball match at Randolph College, 25-20, 25-23 and 25-22.
Emma Catoe had 12 kills and two blocks for the Maroons while Sidney Alumbaugh hit 10 kills with nine digs against Pfeiffer. Haley Torbert finished with seven kills while Raygan Wade handed out a match-high 31 assists and Teagan Hubble compiled a match-high 17 digs.
The RC women are on the road this weekend with a match in Winchester against Shenandoah University on Friday and a trip to Harrisonburg Saturday for a noon match against Eastern Mennonite.
