The Roanoke College women’s soccer team will host Guilford College in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference game this Saturday. The 3 pm kickoff at Kerr Stadium will be part of Family Weekend at RC and it will also be Senior Day.
The Maroons were 3-4-1 after being shut out by Centre College in Salem last Sunday, 2-0. Centre, from Kentucky, broke a scoreless tie with two second half goals to pick up the win. Centre held a 10-8 advantage in shots but RC had more corners, 2-1. Grace Suchy had five saves for the Maroons.
Roanoke was scheduled to play Averett University in Danville on Wednesday of this week but results were too late for publication.
