Rising country sensation Sam Barber will bring his heartfelt lyrics and soulful sound to the Salem Civic Center on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026.

Tickets for the show, part of The American Route Tour, go on sale Friday, Oct. 31, at 10 a.m., with prices starting at $33.50. A presale event will run from 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, through 10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30. Preferred parking is available for $10. Opening acts include Waylon Wyatt and Wild Horses.

Barber, 22, has quickly become one of country music’s most talked-about new voices. His 2024 debut album, Restless Mind, has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and has amassed more than 2 billion global streams. The 28-track release features hits such as “Straight and Narrow,” “Better Year,” and the global duet “Indigo” with Avery Anna. “Indigo” alone has surpassed 500 million streams worldwide, earning Platinum certification in Australia and double Platinum in Canada, while climbing into Billboard’s Top 40 Hot 100 chart.

The Missouri native’s rise to fame began after appearing on Season 20 of American Idol in 2022, where he earned a “Golden Ticket” but was eliminated before the later rounds. Undeterred, Barber gained widespread attention by sharing his original songs on TikTok, building a passionate fan base with his raw and emotional performances.
