James Madison University
James Madison University has announced students who earned academic honors for the fall 2025 semester, as well as those who graduated during December commencement exercises.
Named to the President’s List were Avery Witt, a biology major; Treya Gunn, a communication studies major; Logan Wade, a computer information systems major; Mateo Moore, a dietetics major; Nicholas Woodson, a nursing major; and Emma LaFountain, a psychology major, all of Salem.
Named to the Dean’s List were Ian DelCid Martinez, architectural design; John Atkins, Andrew Rea and Liam Paxton, business; Chance Long, English; Chloe Butt and Richard Williams, health sciences; Tate Spitnale, media arts and design; Gabriel Bryson, music; Alexus Israel and Madalyn Pressman, nursing; Avery Flynn and Bailey Fralin, psychology; and Henry Ellis, sociology, all of Salem.
Graduating during the Dec. 13, 2025, commencement were Michael Ahearn, who earned a bachelor’s degree in history; and Alexus Israel and Madalyn Pressman, who each earned bachelor’s degrees in nursing, all of Salem.
