The Glenvar High boys are 10-10 after defeating Patrick County at Glenvar High Tuesday night. The Highlanders are now 6-3 in Three Rivers District games with three regular season games to play.

Glenvar got a big win last Thursday when the Highlanders defeated Radford at home, 63-49. Jax Bolling led the way with 20 points, Parker Doolan had 17 and Ryder Francisco had 15.

“Jax was a problem for them to guard in the first half and as they turned their attention to him more in the second half, Parker was able to make some plays,” said Glenvar coach Hank Luton. “Ryder Francisco continued to shoot it well at home despite being limited by a nagging injury.”

Glenvar is scheduled to go to Martinsville tonight to play a Bulldogs team that is undefeated in district play. They’ll wrap up the regular season with a game at Floyd next Tuesday and a home game with Carroll County on Wednesday, February 18.

“The win put us firmly in second place in the distrust behind Martinsville, who we have another crack at this week,” said Luton. “Also keeps us moving forward as we head into Regional play.”
