The Roanoke College men’s lacrosse team treated an Alumni Weekend crowd to a 24-1 victory over visiting Randolph College in an ODAC game last Saturday at Kerr Stadium in Salem.
The WildCats were no match for the Maroons, who led 20-0 at the half before calling off the dogs. Dell Vidunas and Julian Kammerman both scored three times on the day, with Kammerman also logging two assists. Evan Friend, Noah Bell, and Christian Friedl each netted two goals.
TJ Harris was a perfect 15-of-15 in the face-off circle and scooped 10 ground balls. The WildCats only got off three shots on goal with Chris Schwartz recording saves on two of them for the Maroons.
With the win the Maroons improved to 9-4 overall and 5-2 in the ODAC. They were scheduled to host Bridgewater on Wednesday at 5:30 pm followed by a trip to Ashland Saturday for a 1 pm faceoff with Randolph-Macon.
