Patrick Henry High School will be the site of the 2023 Adam Ward Classic Fall Showcase basketball event this Sunday, October 15. The doubleheader will begin at 3 pm with Oak Hill Red taking on the Miller School of Albemarle. At 4:30 pm Oak Hill Gold will meet Massanutten Military Academy.
Massanutten is coached by former Salem High and Roanoke College player Curtis Peery. Among players who valley fans may recognize, former Radford player Gavin Cormany plays for Oak Hill Red, former Bobcat teammate Elijay Kelly is on the Miller School team and Stark Jones from Cave Spring plays for Massanutten. Admission is seven dollars for two games and children five and under free. Proceeds go toward the Adam Ward Scholarship Fund.
