The City of Salem’s annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Thursday, April 18, at the Moyer Sports Complex from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Children will need to bring a container to collect the eggs, and the Easter Bunny once again will be making a visit to give out candy and say hello to the kids. In addition, there will be several children’s activities, including the Little Critters Petting Zoo, Face Painting by Creative Expressions, inflatables and balloon animals.
The Salem Kiwanis Club will be providing free popcorn, the Salem Ice Cream Parlor will have free samples of ice cream, Homestead Creamery will have a variety of milk samples and the Chick-fil-A food truck will have items for purchase.
This year’s event is sponsored by the Salem Kiwanis Club. All activities will take place rain or shine on April 18 at the Moyer Complex, 1000 Union Street.
