Salem High graduate Jake Bowery is one of 31 Roanoke College swimmers who earned All-ODAC honors this season. Bowery was one of eight Maroon men to make the All-ODAC first team and six RC women were also deemed first team selections.
Bowery is a sophomore who transferred from the University of Pittsburgh. He swims freestyle.
Roanoke cleaned up on individual awards after the men won the ODAC team championship and the women finished second. Scott Thacker was named ODAC men’s Coach of the Year, Conor Kinkema was the men’s Swimmer of the Meet, Kimberly Large was named women’s Swimmer of the Meet and Jacob Winn is the ODAC men’s Rookie of the Meet.
