Units responded to a brush fire at the 145-mile marker on southbound Interstate 81 at 11:46am on Tuesday, February 7. The fire was contained in about ten minutes after Roanoke County Fire Department arrived. The fire did not leave the area of the Interstate and no structure were threatened.
