Zachary Davis, an eighth grader at Glenvar Middle School, won the two mile event at the first ever Middle School Outdoor Track & Field State Championships. The meet was held on Saturday, May 24, in Glen Allen, VA. Zachary ran for the Apex Elite Track Club. He won the two mile event with a time of 10:32. He’s the son of Lee and Ronnie Davis of Roanoke County.
