The Glenvar tennis teams played Carroll County with mixed results last week. The boys won, 9-0, at home and the girls lost, 8-0, in Hillsville.
Number three Richard Burton and number five Blake Bowers both won by 8-0 scores for the Glenvar boys. The Highlanders improved to 9-0 with the wins.
Both teams played Radford on Tuesday but results were too late for publication. They’ll play Alleghany today with the girls at home and the boys at Alleghany.
