The annual Interfaith Potluck Dinner, sponsored by Voices of Faith, will take place on Sunday, April 29, beginning at 6 p.m. This year’s site will be St. Philip Lutheran Church on U.S. 11 in Hollins. Those attending are requested to bring a vegetarian dish since dietary restrictions are followed by some of the participants.
Voices of Faith, which has been in existence for more than a decade, seeks to bring understanding about the varying religious faiths which are now represented in the Roanoke area. Meetings, held at intervals throughout the year in various houses of worship, usually include a tour of the site with a talk by the host spiritual leader about beliefs and practices. There is no charge, but persons planning to attend are requested to notify John and Katie Zawacki at voicesoffaith316@gmail.com by April 23.
