The Botetourt County School Board appointed Will Krause as assistant principal of Read Mountain Middle School effective with the next school year.
Krause is currently serving as assistant principal at James Breckinridge Middle School in Roanoke City. He is a former teacher and a Virginia Tech graduate.
Krause will assume the position now held by Deborah Harris, who is moving to Lord Botetourt High School as assistant principal.
