The Roanoke College women will look to bounce back after dropping an Old Dominion Athletic Conference game in Virginia Beach last Saturday. The Maroons fell to Virginia Wesleyan, 74-50, in the first game of a doubleheader with the men.
The Maroons fell behind the Marlins early and never caught up after the first quarter. Alicea Farmer led the team in scoring with 13 points while Paige Breuer and Moriah Tate had seven each. Ashley Fowler had six rebounds.
With the loss the Maroons fell to 7-8 overall and 1-5 in the ODAC. Roanoke was scheduled to host the University of Lynchburg on Wednesday and Friday they go to Randolph-Macon.
