The Roanoke College men’s volleyball team took home a pair of 3-1 victories as they bested Randolph and Penn State Altoona last Saturday at Randolph College in Lynchburg.

In the first match, against host Randolph, Jackson Rutkowski topped the Maroons in kills with 14. Michael Cummins joined him in double digits at 12 kills. Dominic Wheaton recorded a team high four blocks.

In the second match against Penn State-Altoona Eli Looney recorded a career high 16 kills to lead Roanoke. Teagan Cole topped the squad in assists with 24. He also recorded three service aces.

The two wins lifted RC’s overall record to 8-3 and the win over Randolph put them at 4-0 in ODAC matches. The Maroons were scheduled to host Randolph-Macon in an ODAC match on Wednesday of this week. On Friday they host Regent University at 5 pm and on Saturday Bridgewater College and Elizabethtown College come to Salem for a round-robin beginning at 1 pm.
