Danielle Moore was appointed as Roanoke College’s director for strategic student success initiatives last month. Moore was previously the associate director of student activities and has worked at Roanoke College since 2018.
In her new role, Moore will work to support Roanoke students and develop programs to ensure their success. She currently works with student organizations and manages the large team of student employees in the Colket Center, encouraging student organizations to collaborate with other groups and academic programs across the campus.
Moore earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Lynchburg and graduated from the University of Virginia with a master’s degree in education in student affairs practice in higher education. Moore has 11 years of experience in higher education, including her work in the enrollment office at the University of Lynchburg.
