Free access to Consumer Reports and Magzter Library is now available from the Research link on the Salem Public Library website with your library card.

Consumer Reports is a nonprofit consumer organization dedicated to independent product testing, consumer-oriented research, and consumer advocacy.  Get access to CR’s product reports and ratings.

With Magzter Library and your library card you can browse, download, and enjoy digital magazines and newspapers from a database provided with Library of Virginia funding.  Magzter is also accessible by app, just find the free Magzter Library app in your device’s app store and install it. (Note: the Magzter Newsstand app requires a paid subscription. Be sure to download the Magzter Library app for free access.)
