all interested persons that the Council of the City of Salem, at its regular meeting on Monday, June 22, 2020, at 6:30 p.m., in the Cafeteria at South Salem Elementary School, 1600 Carolyn Road, Salem, Virginia, will hold a public hearing, pursuant to Sections 15.2-2204 and 15.2-2285 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, to consider approval of the following requests relative to the CODE OF THE CITY OF SALEM, VIRGINIA:
1) Consider the request of Laura Owen, dba Breaking Ground Investments, LLC, property owner, and Mount Regis Center, lessee, for the issuance of a Special Exception Permit to allow an outpatient mental health and substance abuse clinic on the property located at 120 Roanoke Boulevard (Tax Map # 121-9-3) with proffered conditions.
2) Consider the request of Salem Montessori School, Inc., property owner, for the issuance of a Special Exception Permit to allow educational facilities, primary/secondary on the property located at 1574 Roanoke Boulevard
(Tax Map # 222-1-2).
3) Consider the request of Professional Auto Towing & Service, Inc., property owner, for the issuance of a Special Exception Permit to allow automobile repair services, major on the properties located at 707 and 711 Kesler Mill Road (Tax Map #s 34-1-2 and
34-1-2.1).
Copies of the proposed plans, ordinances or amendments may be examined in the Office of the City Planner, Community Development, 21 South Bruffey Street, Salem, Virginia.
At said hearing, parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard relative to the said requests.
