The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged January 19-25. Arrest indicates an accusation, and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18.
Those arrested and their charges were listed as:
January 19 – Kelly E. Cooper, 35, public intoxication
January 20 – Richard E. Goodwin, 53, violation of probation; and Sydney S. Hosey, 34, embezzlement
January 21 – Kevin W. Zettlemoyer, 40, violation of probation; and Darrell T. Mitchell, 28, assault and battery, domestic assault and battery, strangulation of another
January 22 – Roger L. Minor Jr., 29, assault and battery, damage property; and Rachel L. Childress, assault and battery, grand larceny
January 23 – Bradey M. Draper, 25, grand larceny, obstructing justice, false name to police, alter vehicle registration number; and Brittany L. Adkins, 25, grand larceny, alter vehicle registration number
January 24 – Annette H. Covey, 57, criminal trespass; and Brandon S. Stewart, 35, domestic assault and battery, violation of protective order
January 25 – Brian M. Davis, 26, failure to appear
