Police Report

The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged between March 27 – April 2. Arrest indicates an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18.

Those arrested and their charges were listed as:

March 27 – Dominique C. Fraction, 24, failure to appear; Wendy L. Blankenship, 41, domestic assault and battery; and Thyria E. Bell, 31, failure to appear.

March 28 – Michael R. Gibson, 50, assault and battery; Dylan A. Haga, 23, possession of marijuana; Katelyn N. Tiedmann, 20, possession of marijuana; Karen M. Shull, 40, obtain goods by false pretense; Peter J. Snyder, 39, public intoxication; and Joseph K. Ngaojia, 30, false name or address to police.

March 29 – James M. Fletcher, 27, grand larceny; and Kyle M. Femrite, 38, violation of probation.

March 30 – Maurice E. Robinson, 35, public intoxication; Belkis L. Rodriguez`, 29, assault and battery; Tashanda V. Butler, 36, littering; Yuliet P. Leon, 31, assault and battery; and Larry D. Hedrick Jr., 46, violation of probation.

March 31 – Christopher J. Brown, 26, domestic assault and battery / strangulation of another; Deanna N. Wellons, 31, domestic assault and battery; Crystal L. Carter, 36, public intoxication; Joshua T. Taylor, 21, DUI; Jake R. Jones, 22, public intoxication; and Thomas R. Jones Jr., 51, public intoxication.

April 1 – James A. Brooks, 38, failure to appear; Neel D. Shah, 21, possession of marijuana; and Kareem M. Koonce, 41, violation of probation.

April 2 – Frank D. Arnold, 27, DUI.

 

Police report correction: The March 22 edition of the Salem Times Register said that Catherine L. Allen, Kimberly G. McGinnis and Brandon J. Mayer were charged with possession of marijuana. It should have said possession of alcohol.
