The Salem Police Department reported the following people were arrested and charged September 22-28. Arrest indicates an accusation, and defendants are presumed innocent unless found guilty in court. Police do not release the names of persons under the age of 18.
Those arrested and their charges were listed as:
September 24 – Jennifer M. Williams, 34, possession of controlled substance; and Darryl W. Arrington, 54, failure to appear.
September 25 – Melanie N. Pence, 33, possession of controlled substance; Kellee R. Blackmon, 25, violation of probation; and Thurman E. Ayers, 31, failure to appear.
September 26 – Thomas C. Hinson, 41, domestic assault and battery; and Randolph W. Hargrave, 56, public intoxication.
September 27 – Perpetua Z. Saint-Jean, 27, failure to appear; and Thomas J. Walters, 45, shoplifting.
September 28 – Christopher A. Lindamood, 59, criminal trespass; and Kayla L. Minnix, 38, assault and battery.
